Candy has focused on improving her confidence as a speaker, which has helped her become more confident in how she engages with the world. Candy is a member of VIP Online Toastmasters which is dedicated to serving people who are blind or have low vision. She shares a common goal with many of the members who, in one sphere or another, are becoming more comfortable in their lifestyles and influential in building better communities.
Recently as a Participant in the Guide Dogs for the Blind's (GDB) Orientation and Mobility program, Candy's Toastmasters progress came delightfully to light. Who knew that Candy would be filming a testimonial! Toastmasters instills confidence in its members which benefits everyone around them.
