VIP Online Toastmasters receives President’s Distinguished Club recognition
The President's Distinguished Club award from Toastmasters International is given to those online-only clubs that reach eight of 9 goals in education, membership, training and administration.
As our club chartered in December 2020, there were only 7 months to achieve this recognition! Simply amazing!
This is the breakdown of the 8 goals which were achieved:
- 1 for Administration
- 2 for Membership
- 5 for Training
The emphasis of VIP Online Toastmasters is clearly on soft skills training. Congratulations to all the members whose personal training awards contributed our club achieving President's Distinguished Club status.

Ted Shelly, DTM Receives Leadership Recognition from American Express
Toastmasters is all about personal and leadership development. This month Ted Shelly, DTM was recognized for his team collaboration and management skills when American Express Global Merchant Services awarded him the "Driver" award.

VIP Online Toastmasters gets invitation to present at the Randolph-Sheppard Vendors of Florida's biennial seminar.
VIP Online Toastmasters has been invited to present at the Randolph-Sheppard Vendors of Florida's biennial seminar.
The Biennial Seminar will be held Friday, August 27 and Saturday August 28 at the Rosen Plaza Hotel at 9700 International Drive, Orlando, FL. The trade show starts at 10am on Friday morning and will finish up at 1pm on Saturday. Sessions start after lunch on Friday and continue all day Saturday.
VIP Online Toastmasters will have a "booth" at the trade show and will conduct 2 interactive seminar sessions.

2021 International Speech Contest Semifinals
The Toastmasters International Speech Contest Semifinals, which will take place as part of the 2021 International Convention, lead up to the World Championship of Public Speaking®. Competition begins at the club level and proceeds through the Area, Division, District, and region quarterfinal levels. The top two contestants from each region quarterfinal advance to the semifinals.

Announcing the 2021 Online Convention Experience! Last year marked an exciting time in Toastmasters convention history—the first-ever online convention was born. That experience will continue with the recent Board of Directors’ decision to conduct an online convention August 23-28, 2021. You don't want to miss this opportunity. The International convention is chocked full of workshops and, of course, the World Champion of Public Speaking® final competition.
